Grand Palace & Temple of the Emerald Buddha
Begin your journey at the magnificent Grand Palace, the former royal residence and one of Bangkok’s most important landmarks. Explore the impressive palace complex and visit Wat Phra Kaew, also known as the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, Thailand’s most revered Buddhist temple. Admire the intricate architecture, ornate decorations, and traditional Thai craftsmanship throughout the complex.

Wat Pho – Temple of the Reclining Buddha
Continue to Wat Pho, one of Bangkok’s oldest and most significant temples. The temple is renowned for its enormous gilded Reclining Buddha, measuring approximately 46 metres long and 15 metres high. Wat Pho is also recognized as an important centre for traditional Thai massage and learning.

Wat Suthat & the Giant Swing
Visit Wat Suthat, one of Bangkok’s most important royal temples, known for its elegant architecture, beautiful murals, and impressive Buddha image. In front of the temple stands the famous Giant Swing, a historic landmark that was once used in an ancient Brahmin ceremonial tradition.

Wat Kanlayanamit
Continue to Wat Kanlayanamit Woramahawihan, a historic riverside temple on the Thonburi side of the Chao Phraya River. The temple is known for its large principal Buddha image and impressive traditional architecture. Its location beside the river provides a more peaceful atmosphere away from the busier tourist areas.

Wat Saket – Golden Mount
Conclude the temple tour at Wat Saket, home to the famous Golden Mount. Climb the gentle staircase around the hill to reach the golden chedi at the summit, where you can enjoy panoramic views over Bangkok’s historic old town. The temple provides a wonderful final stop for experiencing both the spiritual heritage and historic character of the city.
